Quick start
Your render studio, in four moves
The Library on the left holds materials, colours, environments and backplates. Drag any tile onto a part of your model.
The Inspector on the right has a tab for each job: Scene, Materials, Camera, Lights, World, Look and Output. Keys 1 to 7 switch tabs.
Press Ctrl+K to find any command by name. Ctrl+Z undoes almost anything.
Snapshot grabs the current view. Export renders a clean high-resolution still; the Output tab has passes, batches, 360 spins and 3D export.
Tap Inspector for the settings: Scene, Materials, Camera, Lights, World, Look and Output.
The bar under the view opens the library of materials, colours, environments and backplates. Tap a tile to use it.
Drag to orbit, pinch to zoom and use two fingers to pan.
Render assistant
Guided commands use a rule-based parser. Optional on-device AI may require a browser model download, with your approval. Models, files and prompts stay on your device.
3D Render Studio is a free, browser-based product rendering studio from XO3D Labs. It path traces your model on your graphics card, with a material editor and library, studio lights, an environment builder, saved cameras, looks and colour grading, render passes, a batch queue and animation. Uploaded models, backplates, LUTs, photos and custom HDRIs are opened locally in your browser. Renderer libraries, decoder files, preset HDRIs, the sample model and the optional AI denoiser are served from XO3D Labs rather than public asset CDNs.
What it does
3D Render Studio opens common 3D formats in a browser-based render workspace with path tracing, HDRI lighting, reflections, depth of field, editable materials, studio lights, local screenshots and high-resolution export.
Uploads and privacy
Uploaded models, backplates, LUTs and custom HDRIs are opened locally in the browser and are not uploaded to XO3D. Share links save settings only and do not include uploaded files.
Dependencies and export
The renderer bundle, Draco decoder, KTX2/Basis transcoder, meshopt decoder, six preset HDRIs and sample model are served from XO3D Labs. Save PNG and high-resolution Export both download locally without an email gate.
Upload a 3D model in common production formats and set up a product render in the browser: path-traced lighting, a material editor with a library of ready-made materials and colours, studio lights, an environment builder with sun and sky, saved cameras with depth of field, looks and colour grading, render passes, a batch queue, animation and project files you can save and reopen.
Does it denoise renders?
Yes. An optional AI denoiser (Intel Open Image Denoise) cleans the image on your graphics card in browsers with WebGPU, such as current Chrome, Edge and Safari. It downloads about 2 MB of model data from XO3D Labs the first time you switch it on; your render never leaves the browser.
Which features are part of Renderer Pro?
4K and 8K output, unbranded exports, EXR files, cloud Scenes, turntable and animation video files and 360 spins and contact sheets are Renderer Pro features. Still images, render passes, the batch queue, PNG animation frames, 3D export and project files are free, with the XO3D mark on free beauty images.
Are my model files uploaded?
No. Uploaded models, backplates, LUTs and custom HDRIs are opened locally in the browser. Share links save settings only and do not include uploaded files.
Does it load its renderer from public CDNs?
No. The renderer modules, decoder files, preset HDRIs and sample model are now served from XO3D Labs. The disabled Poly Haven browser would still use Poly Haven if it is approved and enabled later.
Is 3D Render Studio free to use?
Yes. The renderer is free to use, with no account, login, trial or paywall.
Do I need to install anything or sign up?
No installation is needed. The tool runs in a WebGL2-capable browser, with no desktop app or plugin.
Do I have to give my email address?
No. Save PNG and high-resolution Export both download locally without an email gate.

That makes us the right choice for launch-critical work where the visual standard has to be high and the product may not exist yet. It makes us the wrong choice for three things: hundreds of routine SKUs to a fixed template, a permanently live self-service configurator across a large range, and the campaign idea itself.
