glTF and GLB Validator

Find format errors before the next handoff. Check the original model, understand the reported issue and save a local validation report.

Check your original asset

Select exactly one model. For glTF, include its matching BIN and image files. Up to 64 files and 64 MiB total; JSON up to 4 MiB. Remote resources are never fetched.

Choose a local file or try an original synthetic triangle. Nothing is uploaded.

What happens next
  1. The original bytes are checked in a background worker.
  2. Errors, warnings and coverage gaps are separated.
  3. You fix the source and validate the new export.

Validation stops after 20 seconds and reports up to 200 issues. Cancel or a timeout never counts as a completed check.

The report is saved locally. It may contain resource names, paths and metadata from your model. Review it before sharing. Reports and model data are never attached to a studio enquiry.

Format validity is one part of readiness

This checks glTF 2.0 structure, references and supported binary data rules. For example, an accessor can point beyond its buffer or declare bounds that disagree with its vertex positions, even when a viewer tries to display it.

Counts describe this asset; they are not universal web performance budgets. Test the final model on its target devices and connection.

Read the coverage notes

An unsupported extension can produce an information message with zero errors. This tool marks that result incomplete. Missing resources, limited extension support and truncated reports also prevent an all-clear result.

Draco, Meshopt, KTX2 and custom extension contents are not automatically validated by this engine. The report records the exact validator version and supported extension list.

Make the handoff useful

Resolve format errors in the source application. Then inspect materials, scale, product details, motion and the intended interaction separately.

Use the GLB material and export checklist or explore a directed product interactive.
