About Image to PBR
Image to PBR is a free, browser-based tool from XO3D Labs. Generate albedo, normal, roughness, displacement and ambient occlusion maps from one source image with material hints, live 3D preview, separate PNG downloads and ZIP export for PBR texture workflows. It is built for 3D artists, CGI generalists and technical artists, runs entirely in your browser with no signup or install, and is one of 70 free tools in the Labs suite.
What it does
Image to PBR turns one source photo or texture into five useful material support maps: albedo, normal, roughness, displacement and ambient occlusion. It is built for quick CGI material exploration, texture clean-up and real-time 3D workflows where a full scan pipeline is not available.
How to use it
Upload a PNG, JPG or WebP image, choose a material hint such as metal, fabric, concrete, wood, plastic or ceramic, then tune normal strength, roughness, displacement and ambient occlusion controls. The grid shows each generated map and the 3D preview updates as the maps are created.
Downloads and privacy
The source image is processed locally in the browser. The Download PBR ZIP and separate map download actions appear after an image is loaded and save instantly.
