Basis and limitations

The image tools support the everyday review loop around CGI production. Image workflow guidance is based on common render review and web handoff needs.

Common mistakes
  • Compressing before checking final size.
  • Marking up a low-resolution image for detailed revisions.
  • Sending feedback without the original context.

FAQ

Questions this page answers

Do image tools upload my files?

By default no. The image tools run locally in your browser, so your files are not uploaded. The only exception is if you opt in to a hosted share link, which sends the data needed to create that link; downloads and report PDFs save instantly in your browser.

Can I use Image Marker for client comments?

Yes, for lightweight review packs and structured feedback exports.

Should I compress final delivery renders?

Only compress copies for sharing or web use. Keep full-quality masters separately.
